I have done what no sane mother would do. I bought noisy shoes for my 3 year old. They have air pockets in the sole and squwak every time my toddler takes a step. Neve loves wearing her squeaky shoes EVERYWHERE.
I think she loves the attention they get too.
Oh and she rarely walks in them, being a little girl she tends to skip or run everywhere. Especially when the squeak turns into something resembling a chipmunk train because she is running so fast.
We went to the big shopping center on the weekend and EVERYONE looked. Everyone did like the shoes and smiled and laughed and asked where I bought them. And Neve gives them the biggest cutest grin. She has a natural smile and loves people, like most toddlers I guess!
Its a strange feeling walking through so many people and having all their heads turn to the bright loud SQUEEK, SQUEEK, SQUEEK GIGGLE GIGGLE HEHEHEHE! As she runs through the shopping centre. At least I’d never lose her I guess :D
