What a busy month it has been. I have accepted a new job but I have to work a day that playgroup is on. My beloved playgroup! Yes there are other groups around but this one is different. This one is mine, I have made real friends there and so has my 4 year old.
For a fleeting minute there I gave myself the ridiculous idea of not accepting the job. Crazy! I can catch up with the girls another day hopefully. We are all on facebook...... I hope my next playgroup is as involved and wonderful as this one. We all pitch in, we do craft, we give each others kids a cuddle, we talk openly like old friends. My god I'm going to miss them!
They have been my parenting support over the past 3 years and really made a difference in my life.
I had to do it though. My work life balance was suffering, this job is closer to home and I finish earlier.
I will also miss being coordinator but am happy to hand over the reigns. It
can be a busy and demaning role at times.
I do still have a few weeks of playgroup, I can't find childcare on a thursday so they are graciously letting me work on a day I do have care until I get spots for Mr 1 and Mrs 4. I will also work fridays but have care for those days thankfully.
