There are 3 main Playgroup programs on offer:
1. Community Playgroups are run by the families who attend, and all members are involved in the planning and organisation of activities. Playgroups are unique in that adults attend with their children and are actively involved in each playgroup session.
2. Supported Playgroups provide opportunities for parents and children who would not normally access a playgroup. This program is funded by the Federal Government to address the needs of particular communities that are socially isolated and/or disadvantaged.
3. PlayConnect Playgroups help families with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as part of the Federal Government’s “Helping Children with Autism” package.
